Treatment with body fat in its current form is a modern method of breast augmentation. Similar to liposuction, fat is taken from one part of the body (usually the abdomen and the waist area). In the further course, the fat is specially prepared and inserted into the breast with specially developed, very fine cannulas.
Autologous fat is mainly used for breast augmentation, but it can also be used to enlarge and fill the buttocks and hips, to treat wrinkles and fill volume in the face and neck area, or for scar correction.
Similar to liposuction, the fat is uniformly removed from the body and prepared. Depending on the existing breast size and the desired enlargement, the appropriate amount of autologous fat is prepared. Through many small punctures in the area of the breast, which do not leave any scars, the fatty tissue is introduced into the breast and heals quickly.
